"Furchgott's paintings have a meditative quality - an intentional quietness that is reflective of the artist herself ... Over the years, Furchgott's work has mirrored the different phases of her life and is mostly centered around women ... The professional artist has taken great care in showing the dignity and beauty of 'women's work' in her latest series (Intimate Interiors)."

ABOUT THE ARTIST
A gifted artist and a talented teacher, Terry Furchgott has made art her career and her passion for over fifty years. She is represented by the Harris Harvey Gallery in Seattle, WA. Working primarily in acrylic and soft pastel, her paintings focus on the figure and are notable for their depth of color, strong, innovative compositions and exploration of archetypal human relationships and of the Feminine.
